GENERAL SERVICES
Sick of driving?!  Need a cup of coffee, a cold drink, a meal and a beer. How about a camp site with a hot shower. Lunch or Dinner in the beer garden, or evening yarns around the log fire.
A warm bed or a nice hot dinner in the licensed dining room and a cooked breakfast will always give you a good start in the morning. We offer all you may need or want.

Comfortable queen, double, twin, triple or quad rooms are available, thus offering a choice of room sizes, styles and costs. Our Homestead Campground offers full bathroom and laundry facilities. No matter where you choose to lay your head, the restaurant and bar are open to all.

PLEASE; to avoid disappointment, pre book for evening meals.
Will always do our best to fit you in even if it is a last minute request, but some nights simply unable to do so without a prior booking.

The short order board offers lots of lunch choices, something to suit all tastes.
Please note: Lunch is available - 11.30 am to 2 pm daily.

The restaurant, bar and beer garden are all open from 1 st May ( roads permitting ) and close 30th September.
The small general store is open from approximately April to October (hours are: 8 am to  5 pm, 7 days), stocking a range of basic tinned and dry food staples, plus those little luxuries of cold drinks, chocolates and biscuits etc. Normally carries frozen bread, ice, cheese, margarine & eggs, plus an assortment of frozen meat packs.
While the shop can provide most of your needs, please be aware that we do not stock fresh vegetables or salads.

Diesel and unleaded fuels are available at our shopfront bowsers, being your last fuel stop if traveling to the Mitchell Plateau. Air and water also available.

TYRE REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT
Tyre repairs and an assortment of new tyres and tubes available. We also normally carry batteries.
Very sorry but we are unable to do ANY actual vehicle repairs of any sort at all. It is illegal to do any vehicle repairs of any type unless hold a Vehicle Repair Licence and the work must be done by a fully qualified mechanic. We do have only a Tyre Repair Licence.

CARAVANS AND TRAILERS
If you plan to travel further north, the road may be unsuitable for your camper van or trailer. If you wish to leave it here, we offer a free parking service (with the proviso; "all care, but no responsibility").

SCENIC FLIGHTS AND DAY TRIPS
All year round please phone (08) 91 482 600 and from May to August bookings for scenic flights can also be made at the new 'Drysdale River Flight Centre' which is located near the Drysdale River Airstrip. Even better please enquire in advance by email.
If you email, you can be sent fully informative sheets for your consideration of the options. One advantage in booking in advance is that it allows the operator 'Shoal Air' to know when and how many people wish to fly and they can then sell any other vacant seats. This also helps you, because the seat prices are on a sliding scale; more seats used means lower seat prices for all.

PRIVATE AIR TRANSPORT
For those with their own air transport, the fully fenced 1380 meter strip is only 1.5 km from the Roadhouse ( it can be seen on Google Earth™ at [    15°42'43.50"S   126°22'51.52"E   ].
Use of the airstrip and purchase of DRUMS of Av Gas and Jet A1 is available, but must be by prior arrangement.
